Rob Marsland

Senior Project Manager

Rob is an Infrastructure Engineer with many years of experience and knowledge of computer systems, servers and running datacentres.  

Rob joined Ekistica in early 2017 and is currently the technical lead of the national Community WiFi project.  This project supports strategy, training and technology needs in 69 remote Indigenous communities across SA, NT, QLD and NSW.  The aim of the project is to connect more communities across Australia to faster more reliable internet connections or by establishing new internet connections whist improving digital literacy by providing training.  Rob provides technical leadership in all aspects of this project delivery. Rob also utilises his expertise in IT technology to assist Ekistica in developing a strategic future focused internal systems approach.

Prior to joining Ekistica, Rob spent eight years with the Centre For Appropriate Technology Ltd, managing a diverse range of IT infrastructure projects.
